Player Protection

Responsible Gambling —
Play Safe, Stay in Control

At bpexh, responsible gambling is not a footnote — it is built into the heart of the platform. This page explains the tools, limits and support resources available to every player, and how to recognise when gambling stops being fun.

18+

Adults Only — 18+ or higher where the operator / licence jurisdiction requires

Local laws in Pakistan may restrict gambling. This is not legal advice.

Gambling should always be entertainment — never a way to make money or escape problems. If you are concerned about your gambling, use the self-exclusion tools on this page or contact our support team at [email protected]

Why Responsible Gambling Matters at bpexh

Gambling is a legal form of entertainment for adults in many jurisdictions around the world. For the majority of players — whether they are following a PSL T20 in Lahore, watching an ICC tournament match from Karachi or enjoying a live casino game from Islamabad — it stays exactly that: entertainment. Most people set a budget, stick to it and enjoy the experience without issue.

But for a minority of players, gambling can become problematic. The signs can be subtle at first — spending a bit more than planned, chasing a loss, or finding it harder to walk away. bpexh takes this reality seriously. We do not want players to suffer harm on our platform. That is why we publish this page prominently, why our responsible gambling tools are as visible as our promotions, and why our support team is trained to help.

All responsible gambling tools described on this page are available free of charge to every registered bpexh user. We encourage all players to set limits proactively — before they feel they need to — rather than waiting until gambling causes distress.

Important Legal Context: Online gambling is subject to restrictions under Pakistani law, including the Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977. bpexh does not claim any licence from the Government of Pakistan, PTA or the State Bank of Pakistan. Users are responsible for determining whether their use of this Platform is lawful in their own jurisdiction. This is not legal advice.

Six Tools to Help You Stay in Control

Every one of these tools is available free of charge to all registered bpexh users. You do not need a problem to use them — setting limits proactively is the mark of a responsible player.

Deposit Limits

Set a maximum amount you can deposit over a daily, weekly or monthly period. Once the limit is reached, no further deposits are accepted until the period resets. Limits can be reduced immediately; increases take effect after a 24-hour cooling-off period to prevent impulsive decisions.

Loss Limits

Cap the maximum net loss you can sustain over a set period — daily, weekly or monthly. For example, you could set a weekly loss limit of PKR 5,000 so that once that threshold is reached, you are prevented from placing further bets until the period ends. A practical way to protect your budget.

Session Time Limits

Set a maximum duration for each individual gambling session. When the limit is reached, you will be prompted to stop and take a break. Time can pass quickly during a live PSL match or casino session — this tool keeps you anchored to how long you have actually been playing.

Reality Check Reminders

Enable periodic on-screen notifications that appear during active sessions to remind you how long you have been gambling, how much you have deposited and your current win/loss balance for the session. A simple nudge that brings you back to the present moment.

Cool-Off Period

Take a short break — between 24 hours and 6 weeks — without permanently closing your account. During a cool-off period, you cannot log in or place bets. This option is ideal if you feel you need a short pause to re-evaluate your gambling habits before returning.

Self-Exclusion

Permanently or long-term exclude yourself from the bpexh platform. Self-exclusion periods start at a minimum of 6 months and can be set for 1 year, 5 years or permanently. Once active, self-exclusion cannot be reversed until the minimum period expires. Contact support to activate.

How to activate these tools: All limits and tools are accessible from the Account Settings section of the Platform. You can also request activation or changes by contacting our support team directly at [email protected] (plain text — not a clickable link). Limit reductions take effect immediately. Limit increases and cool-off cancellations are subject to cooling-off periods to protect your wellbeing.

Choosing the Right Limit for You

Not all limits work the same way. Here is a quick guide to help you pick the right tool for your situation.

Deposit
Limit
Best for: Controlling overall spend from the start

Set before your first deposit. Choose an amount you are comfortable losing entirely — treat it like a leisure budget. Recommended first step for all new players. Example: PKR 2,000 weekly.

Loss
Limit
Best for: Stopping "chasing" behaviour

If you notice yourself wanting to deposit more after a losing streak, a loss limit automatically prevents this. Set at the same level as your deposit limit for maximum protection.

Time
Limit
Best for: Players who lose track of time during sessions

Live betting on cricket or casino games can be immersive. A 60- or 90-minute session limit ensures gambling does not encroach on daily responsibilities, family time or sleep.

Cool-Off /
Self-Excl.
Best for: When limits alone are not enough

If you are using your entire deposit limit every day, or feeling anxious or guilty about gambling, a cool-off or self-exclusion gives your mind the space it needs. Do not wait until a crisis — use it early.

PKR Budget Reference

These figures are illustrative only — your own budget depends entirely on your personal financial situation.

  • Casual / occasional play PKR 500–1,000/wk
  • Regular recreational PKR 2,000–5,000/wk
  • Consider a review if above PKR 10,000+/wk
  • Seek support immediately if Affects bills / family

These are reference points, not endorsements of any spend level. Gambling should never interfere with essential expenses.

Recognising Problem Gambling

Problem gambling does not always look like what you might expect. It often starts gradually. If any of the following sound familiar — for you or someone you know — it is worth pausing and seeking support.

1

Spending more than you planned. You regularly deposit more than your original budget for a session, telling yourself you will "win it back".

2

Chasing losses. After a losing session, you feel a strong urge to gamble again immediately to recover the money you have lost.

3

Gambling with money you cannot afford to lose. Using funds needed for rent, groceries, school fees, utility bills or family expenses for gambling.

4

Hiding your gambling. Concealing how much time or money you spend gambling from family members or friends.

5

Gambling to escape problems. Using gambling as a way to cope with stress, anxiety, depression, boredom or difficult personal circumstances.

6

Inability to stop. Trying to cut down or stop gambling but finding it very difficult, or feeling anxious or irritable when not gambling.

7

Neglecting responsibilities. Missing work, family commitments or social obligations because of gambling or recovering from gambling.

Quick Self-Assessment

Ask yourself these questions honestly. There are no right or wrong answers — this is for your own reflection only.

Q1

Have you ever gambled with money that was meant for something else — household bills, groceries, school fees?

Q2

Have you ever tried to win back money you lost gambling (chasing losses)?

Q3

Have you ever felt guilty, ashamed or stressed about your gambling after the fact?

Q4

Have you ever hidden the amount you gamble — in money or time — from a family member or partner?

Q5

Have you ever borrowed money, sold something, or gone without to fund gambling?

Q6

Do you find yourself thinking about gambling frequently, even when you are not playing?

How to interpret your answers: If you answered "yes" to any of the above questions, it is worth having an honest conversation with yourself — or with a trusted person — about your gambling habits. Answering "yes" to two or more suggests it would be beneficial to use our self-exclusion or cool-off tools and consider reaching out for professional support. There is no shame in doing so — reaching out early makes it much easier to regain control.

Licensed Counselling Services

Mental health professionals, including those registered with the Pakistan Association of Mental Health, can provide confidential counselling for gambling-related issues. Speak with your GP or a registered psychologist in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad or other cities for a referral.

Contact: seek a referral from a licensed mental health professional in your city.

Gamblers Anonymous (GA)

Gamblers Anonymous is an international fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope to help each other recover from a gambling problem. GA meetings operate in many countries. Their twelve-step programme has helped millions of people worldwide regain control.

Mental Health Helplines

Several organisations in Pakistan offer mental health crisis support by telephone. If gambling is causing severe distress, financial crisis or thoughts of self-harm, please reach out to a mental health helpline or emergency services in your area immediately. Do not wait.

Urgently needed: please contact Umang helpline (0317-4288665) or visit your nearest hospital emergency department for immediate mental health crisis support in Pakistan.

Online Self-Help Tools

Organisations such as GamCare (UK-based, with international resources) offer online self-help programmes, webchat support and structured courses to help people understand and change their relationship with gambling — all available from a smartphone or computer.

Keeping Minors Safe

bpexh is strictly an adults-only platform. Access by anyone under 18 — or the higher minimum age required by the operator or jurisdiction — is not permitted under any circumstances. We take the following steps to prevent underage access:

  • Mandatory age declaration during account registration;
  • KYC documentation required before withdrawals are processed, confirming the account holder's identity and age;
  • Immediate account suspension where underage access is suspected, with all winnings forfeited;
  • Prompts throughout the registration flow reminding users of the 18+ requirement.
If you share a device with children: We strongly recommend using parental control software to prevent access to gambling websites. Free and paid options are available for all major operating systems and mobile devices. Do not leave your bpexh account logged in on shared devices.
